Headquartered in Pittsburgh, the organization employs more than 41,100 people dedicated to our corporate mission — delivering high-quality, accessible, understandable, and affordable experiences, outcomes, and solutions. The customers our companies serve reside in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and include individuals, families, businesses, and government entities. Our consolidated revenues grew to $18.2 billion in 2016.

Highmark Health receives Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles Award

As leaders in the health care industry, the Highmark Health organization is focused on the health care experience our customers receive, as well as supporting the health and wellness of our employees and their families.

For the first time, Highmark Health was recognized by the National Business Group on Health (NBGH) with the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award. The award honors companies that demonstrate creative, comprehensive, and effective solutions to improving employee health, productivity, and well-being.

The Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles program was created by the NBGH to recognize employers with exceptional commitment to improving their employees' physical health, productivity, and overall quality of life.

Highmark Health is committed to creating a workplace that reflects our emphasis on creating and maintaining healthy lifestyles by encouraging employees to access fitness centers at no cost, health and wellness coaching, and stress management resources.
