Highmark Inc. named "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality"
Highmark Inc. was named a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign in recognition of the company's supportive and inclusive culture for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning employees. Highmark Inc. received the top score of 100 points in the 2017 national Corporate Equality Index, which benchmarks corporate policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees. It is one of six organizations in Pittsburgh to earn this designation, and one of only 22 companies in Pennsylvania.
AHN Chief Financial Officer named "CFO of the Year"
AHN Chief Financial Officer Jeff Crudele was named a "CFO of the Year" by the Pittsburgh Business Times for his role in leading AHN's financial improvement over the course of 2017. AHN ended 2017 with $51.1 million in net income and $31.2 million in operating revenue, its best financial performance since the creation of the network in 2013.
