Allegheny Health Network
In 2019, AHN became the first health system in the Pittsburgh area to offer patients real-time wait times for all emergency and urgent care facilities patients in need of emergency or urgent care can now check up-to-the-minute wait times thanks to Find Care Now, a service available at ahn.org and via desktop and mobile devices on MyChart.
AHN's four labor and delivery units at West Penn, Saint Vincent, Jefferson, and Forbes hospitals delivered more than 8,100 babies in 2019. Since 2013, the number of births at AHN hospitals has grown by more than 70%.
AHN's perinatal and postpartum mental health programs have grown dramatically over the last two years, thanks to the opening of the Alexis Joy D'Achille Center for Perinatal Mental Health at West Penn Hospital; by the end of 2019, the programs averaged more than 300 appointments a week.
At the end of 2019, Grove City Medical Center now called AHN Grove City became AHN's ninth acute-care hospital; it is the first hospital to join the network since 2013.
HM Health Solutions
HM Health Solutions (HMHS) serviced more than 10 million members of separate health plans via the Enterprise Health Solution.
HMHS supports all lines of health care business: national, large/small group, individual, ACA, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage.
In 2019, HMHS' first claim acceptance rate for health plan customers averaged 90%, exceeding the national average.
HM Insurance Group

United Concordia Dental administers the world's largest voluntary dental benefits plan, the TRICARE Dental Program for active duty family members, and National Guard and Reserve members and their families.
In 2019, United Concordia Dental helped provide $14 million in free dental care to more than 19,000 people in need.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Highmark Health Plans provided over $17 million in grants and sponsorships in Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia.
Highmark Foundation provided nearly $3 million in funding in 2019 to support initiatives that educate and improve the overall well-being of the communities served by Highmark Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Allegheny Health Network provided nearly $1 million in funding in 2019 to support community health and economic development initiatives to improve the overall well-being of the communities served by Allegheny Health Network across its campuses.
