For Jamie and Minnesota’s Blue plan: HMHS rocks, around the clock

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN) is among the many health plans who have turned to HM Health Solutions (HMHS) for its expertise in getting health care right. Based in Egan, Minnesota, BCBSMN’s 3,500 employees support 2.7 million health plan members in both the individual and commercial markets. In 2015, the plan partnered with HMHS and began migrating to the HMHS Enterprise Platform in order to improve operations for its customers.

The platform has proven to be a winner among BCBSMN’s customers. They especially value its customer service desktop and the way its portal is optimized for search, among other features and benefits.

Along the way, BCBSMN’s Jamie Rice, senior vice president of health plan operations and chief technology officer, discovered something else that truly differentiates HMHS: service. The new platform was going live on New Year’s Eve, to align to the New Year. And there, on deck to support the effort, day and night, were members of the HMHS senior leadership team. "Seeing senior leadership from HM Health Solutions in Minnesota on the day we were going live—on December 31^st, as we moved into January 1^st—to me, that was a demonstration in terms of how important we are as a customer," said Jamie. For him, HMHS is proving to be a rock, around the clock.

"And that is a satisfying feeling knowing that you and your employees are so invested and concerned about our success."
