During 2015 HMHS had numerous achievements, including increasing revenues, winning new business from Blues plans in Philadelphia and Minnesota, growing its talent base, and improving quality processes with ISO9001:9008 certification for print and services. In addition, as a result of the company’s continued focus on data security and privacy, HMHS recently met all the standards required by the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST) Common Security Framework (CSF) for certification.
HMHS is also proud to continue its service to the community. Each year the company identifies organizations that it will champion. Two causes that employees identified this year were Volunteers of America (VOA) and the Boy Scouts of America. On behalf of VOA, groups of employees donated time and resources in order to refurbish a house for a veteran near Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. HMHS also raised over $60,000 for the Boy Scouts for its Future Leaders of America. Because of its strong belief in the power of giving back, these organizations have received generous support from HMHS employees for the charitable causes that they elect to support every year.

HM Health Solutions earns "ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System" certification
HM Health Solutions' Output Services recently obtained the "ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS)" certification for two print facilities in Pittsburgh and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. HMHS underwent a rigorous auditing process from a third party to demonstrate compliance to the internationally recognized 9001 standard. HMHS is committed to the ongoing needs of its clients through best-in-class quality control.
HM Health Solutions earns HITRUST certification
HM Health Solutions earned HITRUST (Health Information Trust Alliance) Common Security Framework certification in 2015 for the main claims processing systems as well as for those of affiliate and customer United Concordia Dental. The certification ensures the highest level of privacy and security to customers and partners by combining adherence to federal and state regulations, industry standards and best practices focused on safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
HM Health Solutions recognized among "Pittsburgh Coolest Offices"
The Pittsburgh Business Times recognized HM Health Solutions as among "Pittsburgh's Coolest Offices." HMHS's Fifth Avenue Place location in Pittsburgh was lauded for its modern lighting, open work spaces and low walls, which help to improve productivity and collaboration. The facility has Gold Level Certification according to LEED standards as a result of its LED lighting technology, its Energy Star® appliances and its green building materials.
