As a purpose-driven nonprofit, we gauge Highmark Health's performance by our impact on the people and communities we serve as well as our financial results.
We continued to grow in 2024, reaching revenue of $29.4 billion, a $2.3 billion increase over year-end 2023. It is just as important to note nearly $900 million in community impact.
That includes more than $53 million in corporate and foundation giving, and a wide range of support through the Highmark Bright Blue Futures program.
It includes nearly $200 million of charitable and uncompensated care through Allegheny Health Network.
And it includes investments of $645 million in facilities, technology, and Living Health solutions that improve access to affordable, high-quality care, deliver a simpler, personalized and proactive health experience, and create new jobs and economic benefits for our communities. The return on investment we seek is healthier, more engaged members and patients, employers who can afford to provide health coverage benefits, and a sustainable business model for our nation's unsustainable health care industry.

There were breakthroughs across our enterprise in 2024. HM Insurance Group and United Concordia Dental achieved record revenues, and United Concordia Dental exceeded 10 million members for the first time in its history. Allegheny Health Network had its best year for revenue and physician visits. And Highmark entered a new health insurance market southeastern Pennsylvania as well as being selected as a managed care organization for Medicaid in West Virginia.
But our "blueprint to breakthrough" theme is especially relevant for our Living Health model. As we share in our feature story, 2024 was a breakthrough year in how much health plan members experienced, directly, the results of what we have been planning and building with Living Health.
For example, health plan members experienced the convenience of having much of their health, coverage and care integrated on one personalized, easy-to-navigate online platform. They experienced how that platform uses advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence to turn 700 billion data points into proactive information, guidance and outreach that responds to their real-time needs. And they experienced access to a growing suite of curated, high-quality digital health solutions that provide effective support for diabetes, joint pain, mental health and other conditions.
We aren't done by a long shot. The accomplishments of 2024 position us to evolve our Living Health model even further, and we expect to report more breakthroughs for years to come as we deliver on our mission of creating a remarkable health experience, freeing people to be their best.
Looking ahead, it's important to acknowledge that the entire health insurance and health care industry faces strong financial headwinds, uncertainties involving federal programs, and disruptions (albeit with positive potential) created by the accelerated pace of technology and artificial intelligence.
This is a challenging environment, it has impacted our financial results, and we have had to make hard decisions, including with our leadership and workforce. However, from standing up AHN and stabilizing the ACA market to the unprecedented demands of the pandemic, we have proven again and again that our financial foundation, problem-solving culture, values, and agility can overcome big challenges. We believe Highmark Health is exceptionally well positioned to meet the moment, and to stand out as an industry leader not because we are the biggest organization or have the highest profit margins, but because we deliver the best possible system of health, coverage and care to our members, patients, customers, and communities.
