Our dedication to serving each customer goes hand in hand with our commitment to meeting the needs of the communities where we operate. Along with our affiliated businesses and foundations, Highmark Health contributed $224 million to building stronger communities in 2018. That includes charity and uncompensated care, health coverage for those unable to pay for services, funding for a wide range of community health programs, and much more.

We embrace a responsibility to invest in and give back to our communities through corporate giving, as well as signature programs like the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community, employee volunteerism and philanthropy, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
