PITTSBURGH (Aug. 21, 2019) — Three Highmark Health enterprise employees will share their stories on transitioning from the military into the civilian workforce on an episode of Lifetime's Military Makeover on Friday. Military Makeover with Montel Williams is a home improvement series focused on rebuilding the homes and lives of military and veterans with a special episode series, Operation Career, which profiles companies dedicated to hiring and empowering veterans transitioning out of the military.
Air Force veteran Sharon Duke, director of government affairs, United Concordia Dental, Army veteran Marc Nyarko, vice president of partnership and performance management, Highmark Inc., and Navy reservist Dawn Lobick, BSN, RN, manager of population health performance, Highmark Inc., will talk about their perspectives on transitioning from the military and opportunities for veterans in health care.
