The seven charitable foundations affiliated with Highmark Health have long, proud histories of funding programs that improve the health, well-being and quality of life for individuals in the communities we are privileged to serve.
In some cases, these foundations not only support good work in our communities but play a leading and philanthropic role themselves on important health issues. For example, the Highmark Foundation has partnered with Adagio Health and Pittsburgh Business Group on Health to address maternal health disparities.
The Highmark Caring Place, supported by the Highmark Caring Foundation, is broadly recognized as a leader in helping children cope with grief, including training and consulting with schools and professionals who work with grieving children. And the five hospital-affiliated foundations have legacies of community-focused philanthropy dating back decades, and continue to provide meaningful investments that enhance the quality and scope of care and services that Allegheny Health Network provides to its patients.
