PITTSBURGH (February 25, 2026) — Highmark Health and affiliate Highmark Inc. announced today appointments to their boards of directors, effective immediately.

Peter J. Danchak, regional president of PNC Bank covering northeast Pennsylvania
Joining the Highmark Inc. board of directors is Peter J. Danchak, regional president of the northeast Pennsylvania region for PNC Bank, one of the largest diversified financial services institutions in the United States. Mr. Danchak brings over 40 years of extensive experience in corporate banking to the Highmark Inc. board. He was named regional president of the northeast Pennsylvania market in 2001, following a distinguished career serving in various corporate banking roles within the organization.
Mr. Danchak currently serves as chairman of AllOne Charities and as a co-chair of The Scranton Plan. He serves on the board of directors of AllOne Foundation, the Highmark Regional Advisory Board, The Luzerne Foundation and the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Joining the Highmark Health board of directors is Thomas R. Donahue, CFO and treasurer of Federated Hermes, Inc. and Leroy Ball, CEO and board chair of Koppers. Mr. Donahue has served on the Highmark Inc. board since 2011, and Mr. Ball has served on the Highmark Inc. board since 2022.
