Leukemia and Lymphoma Society receives sponsorships
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) has been a priority charity recipient of HM Insurance Group since 2011. The organization sponsors LLS events in Pennsylvania and New York; senior management participates on LLS boards; and employees volunteer at the Light the Night Walk in Pittsburgh.
In 2014, HM Insurance Group completed a two-year Special Research Fellow commitment to sponsor a researcher at The University of Pennsylvania in her quest to enhance knowledge of blood cell development and to seek ways to generate healthy blood cells for therapeutic use.
This research sponsorship is just one example of how HM Insurance Group is actively involved in corporate giving initiatives that can ultimately impact large claims from catastrophic medical conditions and improve the quality of life of those with such diagnoses.
